The Department offers PG and Ph.D. programmes in Communication.
Applicants need to appear for an entrance examination conducted in over 25 centres across India for admission to these programmes.

MA (COMMUNICATION)
The department offers a Two-year Post-graduate programme leading to a MA (Communication) degree. The PG programme has three specialisation streams viz.
- Television & Radio Production
- Communication & Media Studies
- Print Journalism & New Media

Ph.D. (COMMUNICATION)
The Department also offers both part-time and full-time Ph.D programme. Full-time research scholars spend the programme duration on the campus while part-time scholars need to be a resident of the city and must have at least two years of teaching/ research experience.
