MA (Communication)

The department offers a Two-year Post-graduate programme leading to a MA (Communication) degree. The PG programme has four specialisation streams viz.

MA (Communication) is a full-time programme & requires students to attend classes regularly.
 
 

Ph.D. (Communication)

It also offers both part-time and full-time Ph.D programme.  Full-time research scholars spend the programme duration on the campus while part-time scholars need to be a resident of the city and must have at least two years of teaching/ research experience.
 
 

PG Diploma in Health Communication

The one-year PG Diploma in Health Communication aims at creating professionals who can help the healthcare sector achieve maximum impact through effective and strategic use of communication.

Students will undergo one semester of intensive course work followed by a semester of supervised research and a practicum. The courses will provide students with an understanding of the broad issues in health in India, the policy, practice and challenges in health, as well as an exposure to media techniques and communication principles.
