DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION
University of Hyderabad

AVDRU

The Department of Communication has set up an Audio Visual Documentation Resource Unit (AVDRU). AVDRU has been set up with an objective of serving the University campus as also other non-commercial organisations (NGOs, Civil Society Groups, Multi-Lateral Funding Agencies). It works with them in the following areas:

Endowed with digital equipment--single camera units & backed by digital non-linear edit suites including titling & digital effects, AVDRU is the only one of its kind in a university set-up where you come in with your idea & walk out with a DVD.

AVDRU also advises you to consider the format & the mode of production--single or multi-camera.

All works are competitively priced & backed by the university in terms of finances & delivery.

How does it work?

1. The agency/institution that requires a service in any of the above areas gets in touch with us (see contacts) with a proposal.

2. AVDRU will immediately get in touch with the agency & work out the details of the project including a budgetary proposal.

3. The agency approves the AVDRU proposal & gives it a go ahead by releasing part of the funds as per the mutual agreement.

4. AVDRU executes the project & submits it to the agency. The agency approves the execution & makes the remaining payment.
